Biography
Dr. Stephanie Booker, Ed.D., LPC
I'm Dr. Stephanie Booker, Ed.D., LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I'm deeply committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward emotional and mental wellbeing. With over 30 years of experience in helping professions, including six years as a school counselor, I've had the privilege of working with individuals ranging from 5 to 19 years old, as well as adults facing various life challenges. I earned my master's degree in Counseling and Community Care from Missouri Baptist University, and I hold a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling from Liberty University with a focus in Traumatology.
Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work with survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual abuse, as well as parents of children with special needs. I've also worked extensively with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, stress, gender identity concerns, and secondary traumatic stress. Whether in individual therapy or group therapy settings, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where my clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences with trust and confidence.
At Better Days Therapy & Wellness, my goal is to help each person realize and achieve their fullest potential in a compassionate, empowering environment. I'm here to listen, support, and guide you toward healing, growth, and a healthier, more fulfilling life. If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to walk alongside you.
I'm so glad you're considering taking this step toward healing and growth. Whether you're looking for counseling, support, or wellness coaching, I'm here to listen, understand, and walk alongside you.
